Tuder Motorsport has selected its first key driver for the team’s debut in the GTC Endurance Challenge with the Alpine A110 GT4. Emilio Damante will be at the wheel of the French car in the new championship promoted by RIZA International. The driver from Gela made his continental debut in 2025 in the TCR European Endurance – a series also promoted by Mauricio Slaviero that will merge with the GTC Endurance Challenge starting from 2026 – immediately showcasing his potential.
Competing in TCR machinery, specifically driving the Audi RS3 DSG fielded by Tuder Motorsport, Damante secured an overall podium and a DSG class victory in his rookie season. Thanks to strong results towards the end of the year, including the night race at Misano, the driver representing the Alcidi brothers’ team finished sixth overall in the championship and second in the DSG class standings.
After several seasons marked by rapid progression – Damante only began racing touring cars in 2021, competing in the MitJet Italia Racing Series – this move represents another significant step forward in his professional career. Transitioning from a TCR car to a GT4 machine will involve managing higher power delivered mainly through the rear axle. As a result, a different driving style will be required in a context where consistent pace is a key factor. It is a complex challenge, but this adaptability is one of the reasons why Alessio and Alessandro Alcidi’s team, making its GT4 debut, chose to continue working with a driver already fully integrated into the team environment.
The first round of the championship will take place at a track already familiar from the TCR European Endurance calendar: Vallelunga. The opening race is scheduled for the weekend of April 19, followed by the Slovakiaring round on June 7. The third event, which will be new for both Damante and Tuder Motorsport, will be held at Valencia on September 27, before returning to Misano – the venue where the driver from Gela achieved his overall podium and class victory during the 2025 season.
