Vallelunga, FP2: Nardilli/Maman (BMW M4 GT4 Evo) keep the momentum going

As the on-track action for Friday is officially over, the opening day in the history of GTC Endurance Challenge comes to a close. Sharing the track with TCR European Endurance, the second free practice session for the series promoted by Riza International saw Nardilli/Maman (BMW M4 GT4 Evo) once again at the top of the standings.

After claiming first place in FP1, the Italian pair went fastest in the second session as well, setting a 1:40.483 to close the opening day of the season ahead of the rest of the field. Claiming second position was the Tuder Motorsport pair of Damante/Maccari: the Italians, who were also the fastest AM crew of the session, showcased their Alpine A110 GT4’s strong pace on the Roman racetrack. Third place belonged to Bastos/Ebrahim (Aston Martin Vantage GT4), who kept up with their promising start after finishing FP1 in second position. Esposito/Gavazza (BMW M4 GT4 Evo) went fourth fastest, while the top five was rounded out by Trost/Eder (Porsche Cayman 718 GT4), as Wimmer Werk Motorsport looks to play a pivotal role in qualifying.

That fight will take place tomorrow on Saturday 18 April, with the two sessions scheduled at 9:00 and 9:40 local time both lasting 15 minutes. Stage-1 is set to begin later that day at 16:00 local time, whereas the second stage takes place on Sunday 19 April, when the green flag will be waived at 14:15 local time. Both stages will be broadcast on GO-TV’s official YouTube channel, which boasts more than 80.000 subscribers, as well as on PitwallTV and Acelera GP’s YouTube channels.
