Qualifying for the second round of the 2026 GTC Endurance Challenge season is now in the books, and after the two sessions, it was Adriano Visdomini and Koray Kamiloglu (Porsche Cayman 718 GT4) who came out with the fastest combined time at the Slovakiaring. The Autorlando pair will therefore start at the front of the pack for the championship promoted by Riza International, thanks to a total time of 4:21.536.
Visdomini/Kamiloglu therefore took pole in the Pro-Am class, with the Italian setting the fastest Q1 time in the process. Second position belonged to Casals Motorsport, as championship leader and Vallelunga race winner Davide Nardilli, who shares his BMW M4 GT4 Evo with Christian Gavazza this weekend, secured a front-row start for Stage-1. Third place in the Pro-Am standings went to Brazilians Bastos/Ebrahim (Aston Martin Vantage GT4), who despite Pedro set the fastest Q2 time were unable to challenge for pole after the sum of the times from the two sessions.
In the Am category, a phenomenal job from Tuder Motorsport saw Damante/Maccari (Alpine A110 GT4) score class pole, with a total time of 4:23.703. After the promising pace shown throughout free practice, the all-Italian pair put it all together in qualifying, beating the Wimmer Werk Motorsport entry of Trost/Eder (Porsche Cayman 718 GT4). Behind them, newcomers Yeremenko/Volobuiev (Audi R8 GT4) finished their maiden GTC Endurance Challenge qualifying with a third place in the Am class; the category’s top-5 was rounded out by the two Lema Racing Mercedes AMG GT4s, with Kornelia Olkucka edging out Antonucci/Mancinelli.
With the action on Friday now over, the focus shifts to Saturday 6 June, when Stage-1 will begin at 10:05 local time; the green flag for stage-2 is instead set to be waived on Sunday 7 June at 11:40 local time. Both stages will be broadcast on TCR TV’s official YouTube channel, with Daniele Spadi providing commentary on both occasions, and also on PitwallTV and Acelera GP’s YouTube channels.
