There are moments in motorsport that statistics will never record. They have nothing to do with fast laps, race strategies or penalties received, yet they are the moments that remain in everyone’s hearts and memories. In Vallelunga, just before the start of the latest GTC Endurance Challenge round, one such moment unfolded.
While the grid was almost ready to roll and start racing, photographer Igor knelt beside the Aston Martin Vantage GT4 of Gino Motorsport to ask his partner, Nanda, to marry him.
In front of drivers, mechanics, officials, and the spectators who filled the opening weekend of the championship with passion and excitement, Igor created a memory that will last forever – just as we hope their love will. He later shared the moment in a video posted on his social media, capturing the proposal right on the grid of the GTC Endurance Challenge.
For everyone who has ever dreamed of a grand romantic gesture, Igor and Nanda’s proposal is certainly one for the books.
