As the GTC Endurance Challenge gears up for the start of its first historic season, Gino Motorsport has finalized its line-up ahead of the opening race of the year in Vallelunga. Together with Tiago Pinto Bastos, who was previously announced as the team’s first driver, Pedro Ebrahim is also set to make his debut in the series promoted by Riza International, thus creating a fully Brazilian line-up at the wheel of Gino Motorsport’s Aston Martin Vantage GT4.
Ebrahim is one the most promising Brazilian talents in the motorsport world, and has already gathered plenty of experience despite his young age. The soon-to-be 21-year-old comes off a great 2025 season, in which he raced in GT World Challenge Europe, taking one win in the Silver class; he was also crowned Rookie of the Year of the 2025 GT4 European Series, proving he’s capable of excelling in the category he will be driving in this weekend. Last season, he also made his debut in the World Endurance Championship, racing on home soil in the 6 Hours of Interlagos with Team WRT. His 2026 season got off to a fantastic start, as he took a class win in the second round of the historic Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie, proving his worth on a timeless circuit like the Nordschleife. He therefore has plenty of experience in dealing with traffic, a skill that will come in handy this weekend in Vallelunga, when the GTC Endurance Challenge is set to make its debut performance while sharing the stage with TCR European Endurance.
The official on-track action in Vallelunga starts on Friday 17 April, with two 40-minute free practice sessions scheduled at 14:10 and 16:50 local time respectively. Qualifying will instead take place on Saturday 18 April, with the first session scheduled at 9:00 local time and the second at 9:50 – both lasting 15 minutes. Stage-1 is set to begin later that day at 13:55 local time, whereas the second stage takes place on Sunday 19 April, when the green flag will be waived at 15:30 local time.
